On-Site Farm Examinations
We regularly conduct on-site visits to farms, hobby farms, and backyard setups, offering comprehensive examinations for a diverse range of species, including cattle, sheep, alpacas and goats. Our services encompass clinical examinations, sample collection for laboratory testing, and immediate treatment initiation when feasible. Many tests can be conveniently performed at our clinic or referred to a range of laboratories for. optimum and specialised testing needs.
With a particular focus on cattle work, Compass vets proudly uphold its reputation as one of South Australia’s leading cattle practices previously part of Willunga and Aldinga Vet Services. While our primary service area covers the Fleurieu Peninsula, we also routinely visit farms in locations such as Meningie and the Lower Lakes, southern Adelaide Hills and extending to far north as the mid Murray.
Looking after your livestock on the Fleurieu
It’s important to note that horse consultations are not part of our routine services.
Our standard large animal service is extensive, ranging from emergency calls for sick animals or assistance with obstetrics (calving, etc.) to providing specialised guidance on herd health management, addressing disease outbreaks, and offering expertise in biosecurity and welfare concerns.
