Our Synchronisation Protocol & Package Options
Our 10-day progesterone-based synchronisation program reliably provides a simple AI process and is designed to ensure all cows are ready to AI at the same time, reducing the need to heat detect and making breeding more manageable. The program involves a series of hormonal treatments over a 10-day schedule prior to insemination. With guidance, these treatments can be given yourself or alternatively the team at Compass Vets can administer them for you. We understand that every farm is different, so we have designed four different package options for you to be able to select the level of support best suited to your herd’s needs.
A successful AI program relies on more than successful insemination. Disease status, nutrition and trace mineral status all play an important role in ensuring good conception rates.
